Each trail running participant must carry below mandatory gears at all times during the race. For the sake of safety to all the participants, random gear checks will be performed during the race. Any participant without the mandatory gears will not be able to proceed until they arrange for the missing item to be replaced.
• 50km trail running participants: headlamps or torches (mobile phone lamps are not accepted as substitutes)
• Please use a device that can record GPS tracks to record the entire race process. The organizer will review the activity records of all winners (such as Strava records) to ensure the race route has been correctly followed. If a winner fails to provide the required records upon request or is found to have deviated from the designated route, they will be disqualified from receiving awards.
• Mobile phone in working order with charged battery (*The phone number must be the same as the one you provided for the registration. If not, please update the organizer by email)
• Bib (*PROVIDED BY THE ORGANISER IN YOUR RUNNER PACK and must be visible at the front during the race.)
• 350ml of water
• Utensils (including cup or bottle for water replenishment. There will be no cups provided at the checkpoints/water point)
• Respect & be polite to crew, volunteers and other participants
• The above requirements may be amended by the organizer, including adding madatory gears, depending on weather condition. Kindly stay tuned to the latest update from us.
• Participants must use a device capable of recording GPS tracks to record their entire running process. They should then upload this record to their Strava account or directly track the activity using Strava. The record must be set to public view so that it is accessible to everyone, records in other format or on other webpages are not accepted.
